MY TAKE ON CHEF WAN & SON

Of course good samaritans do forgive and forget.  But the sinner must be fully responsible for their misdeeds and wrong doings.

What Chef Wan's son, known commercially as Chef Riz, has done is unacceptable by any standard.  He consciously and gravely lied in his application and deceived others to put himself at a strong advantage.

Puffing up your resume extremely by lying to put yourself at an advantage at the expense of others who are genuinely more qualified is totally unacceptable.  It is legally and morally wrong.  Although people can forgive, the wrongdoer must not continue to thrive on the wrongful doings.

So Chef Wan must not point fingers at those who continue to pursue the matter and call for justice to be done.  This is particularly important because his son's wrong doings affect the reputation of the nation.

There is only one way out for them.  The only way is 'Chef Riz' must withdraw and resign immediately from that prestigious post irrespective of whether he is a talented cook or not!
